CREDS: The Big Changes in Coders' World since ChatGPT and Claude

ChatGPT started the AI race, and AI now can code too. Coders now need to change to start losing job. The process of changes in IT profession especially coders is called CREDS:

• Code (C / CREDS): From long ago until now, coders code manually
• Review and Edit (RE / CREDS): Now coders don't code, mostly only tab-tab with suggestions from AI
• Design and Supervise (DS / CREDS): Vibe coding is not fully reliable by now for true quality but later, IT professionals will design and supervise only.

Tools for review and edit:

• Google Code Assist (for VS Code) - Free, quite adequate for professional use
• GitHub Copilot (for VS Code) - Not free

What students in universities need to learn

• Instead of learn to code manually
• Learn to design, and supervise (of course with coding knowledge)
